The Dandy Dog has a proud history spanning over 40 years since it was originally established in the suburb of Paddington, being one of the first professional grooming salons to open its doors in New South Wales. It then moved to a larger location in North Bondi where it now resides.
What was once only just a grooming salon, has now expanded into a retail store catering for all your pet's needs. We pride ourselves on constantly expanding and improving our services, but never compromising on quality, in order to better serve our customers. This means aligning ourselves to what the customer wants, in terms of speed, availability and customer service.

At The Dandy Dog we treat every pet like our own. Compassion and kindness are our first and fore most considerations. In accordance to this, we only perform styling and grooming procedures that do not impose undue stress or discomfort to your precious pet.

We are located at 9 Curlewis Street, North Bondi in a large, air conditioned atmosphere. We have separate areas for the reception, retail, holding kennels, bathing, drying and clipping of your pet. The salon is cleaned constantly, our equipment is disinfected and we only use warm water and clean towels together with high quality products on your dog or cat. Before commencing any procedure on any animal, we evaluate their skin and coat condition and decide which shampoo/conditioner is appropriate.

All our staff are qualified to perform grooming and styling procedures on all breeds of dogs and cats, whether old or young, difficult or docile. However, while we do try to cater as much as possible for all our customers, we do reserve the right to decline to service certain animals which we have reason to believe pose a danger to the well being of our groomers and/or other pets.
